Barely 48 hours before the March 18 governorship elections, the Labour Party (LP) candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour on Thursday, visited the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu in his palace.
The LP candidate was at the palace of the revered monarch alongside his father, Olawale and his team.
“I was accompanied by my father and team to visit and pay our respects to the Oba of Lagos, we indigenous Lagosians will always respect and revere our traditional rulers, and I look forward to working with them to build a better Lagos,” Rhodes-Vivour tweeted.
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour said he looked forward to working with traditional rulers to build a better Lagos.
Aside from the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who is seeking reelection under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rhodes-Vivour has his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Olajide Adediran aka Jandor to contend with in the exercise.
