The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will hold an “extraordinary meeting” today to decide on the timetable for the 2023 elections.
The emergency meeting comes in the wake of the signing of the electoral act amendment bill into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.
INEC commissioner and chairman, information and voter education,Festus Okoye, said the commission will issue a statement on the way forward after its meeting.
