One of the frontline presidential aspirants of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, has withdrawn his participation and membership from the party.
Peter Obi , the presidential aspirant on the platform of the main opposition party left in a statement he shared on his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.
Mr Obi’s exit, coming on the eve of hotly-contested presidential primaries, came as the politician expressed fears he might be humiliated at the convention in Abuja.
He did not immediately disclose his next platform.
