The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has said that he’s confident of winning back his ‘mandate’ in the just concluded election in the country.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as winner of the February 25 presidential elections.
The failure of INEC to stick to its promise to upload results in real time directly from polling units have fuelled claims of massive rigging.
Obi spoke in an interview on Channels TV programme, SUNRISE DAILY, on Thursday morning.
Asked by the TV host if he would contest again in 2027, should the court case he instituted fail to favour him, the former Anambra Governor said he hoped to win back his mandate judicially.
He replied he would win in court because he trusted the Judiciary.
