2027: El-Rufai Says Tinubu Will Finish Third in Presidential Election

Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has predicted that President Bola Tinubu will not only lose the 2027 presidential election but also come in a distant third.

The former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has forecasted that President Bola Tinubu will not only be defeated in the 2027 presidential election but will secure a distant third place.

El-Rufai said he has done the calculations and is sure about the predicted outcome.

The former Governor made the declaration on Sunday during an interview on Channels Television.

El-Rufai, a member of the coalition-adopted African Democratic Congress (ADC), stated that he had “done my maths” and concluded that Tinubu has no “pathway to win” the election outright on the first ballot.

“Tinubu will be third in the 2027 election. I have done my maths, and I can tell you Tinubu has no pathway to win. The worst-case scenario is that there will not be any winner in the first ballot,” he said.

He said a critical evaluation would reveal that Nigeria has not gotten better under Tinubu’s watch.

“Ask yourself, is your life better now under President Tinubu?” he said.

Earlier, Naija News reported that El-Rufai, has stated that the government of President Bola Tinubu is not working in the best interest of Nigerians.

El-Rufai, who said he made contributions to Tinubu’s emergence as Nigeria’s President, stated that Tinubu has derailed.

Speaking on Sunday during an interview appearance on Channels Television, the former Governor hinted that some people don’t want him to criticize the Tinubu government.

He submitted that the purpose of government is to get things done for the people and the country, but President Tinubu has failed in that regard.
