5 Kids Emerge Winners in ‘Indomitable Team’ Promo

Five lucky children who emerged winners in the just-concluded ‘Indomitables Team’ promo organized by Dufil Prima Foods, makers of Indomie Instant noodles, will feature in the much-anticipated Indomitables cartoon TV series next year.

The draw, which held Wednesday at the corporate headquarters of Dufil Prima Foods Plc in Lagos, was unique in that winners were randomly but fairly selected via digital means at an event well attended by select pressmen and senior officials of the company. The children who reside out of town will be flown down to Lagos, and they all will be treated to fun activities at choice locations, after which shooting for the cartoon series will commence.

Speaking at the occasion, Head of Marketing, Dufil Prima Foods Plc, Mr. Manpreet Singh, who was visibly excited, expressed satisfaction with the huge participation of consumers and intense buzz generated by the campaign.

“The evident bond that consumers, mostly children, have for Indomie is what propelled us to re-launch the indomitables in the first place. It is part of the plan that the emerged winners will get the opportunity to feature in the upcoming Indomitables cartoon TV series scheduled to hit the airwaves by next year, they will also be treated to a memorable experience indeed and more importantly, win cash prizes worth a year’s scholarship,” Singh explained.

According to him, the winners who emerged in the indomie magnetic promo across Nigeria include: Moyosore Bamisaiye, 10, from Ikorodu, Lagos; Chidinma Ewuniye, 11, from Anambra; 10-year-old Oluwaseyi Olukolu from Lagos Island; Sultan Akindele – Ayobo, Ogun State and 13- year-old Chioma Ekuka who resides at Agege, Lagos.

During the course of the program, calls were immediately put through to each of the winner’s phone numbers that emerged after each roll to officially inform them and also to confirm their names, age and whether they are still in possession of all the 16 stickers, which is a major prerequisite for qualification” Singh disclosed.

Also speaking, Public Relations and Events Manager for Dufil Prima Foods Plc, Mr. Tope Ashiwaju, recalled that the Indomitables Team Promo which commenced about three months ago was organized to give children, who constitute an important target of the brand, a fun experience towards the festive season with the reintroduction of their favorite Indomitables Characters.

“Besides launching the newly rebranded 70-gram pack, this promo was mainly aimed at creating fun for the children who are very dear to the brand. The promo required consumers aged 15 and below to collect 16 magnetic stickers comprising pictures of the five Indomitables Characters taken in various poses, after which they were expected to flash the numbers on each sticker. All numbers that met this requirement were collated in our database, from which the five winners were randomly selected,” said Ashiwaju.
