Abidikugu Congratulates Olubadan On Successful Inauguration Of Ibadan Community Guards, Unveiling Of ‘Gari Ibadan’ 

The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of DAKA Foundation, Dr Kazeem Abidikugu popularly known as KSO has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja (ARUSA I), on the formal inauguration of the Ibadan Community Guards and the official unveiling of the “Gaari Ibadan” .

Abidikugu, who is the Agba-Akin Bobajiro of Ibadanland described the two developments as unprecedented in the history of Ibadanland.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to the media on Friday, Abidikugu said the good initiatives by the Olubadan has shown him as an outstanding leader not only in Ibadanland but in the entire country.

 He lauded the revered monarch saying with the inauguration of the Ibadan Community Guards, he has demonstrated uncommon leadership.

He said the inauguration of the Ibadan Community Guards could not have come at a better time than now with the insecurity pervading the country and the recent incursion of armed bandits into Kwara State which is a gateway to Oyo State 

He saluted the courage of the Olubadan for taking a bold step in preventing and  curtailing criminality in Ibadanland.

He said the inauguration of the Ibadan Community Guards will not only provides jobs for the teeming youths but also assist the conventional Security operatives in making Ibadanland peaceful .

Speaking on the unveiling of “Gaari Ibadan”, under the Ibadan Economic Investment and Business Development Desk in collaboration with the Ibadan Food Security Initiative, Abidikugu who is a United Kingdom based Psychiatric Consultant said the Olubadan deserves accolade , saying this step will ensure and  strengthening  food sustainability, and economic empowerment within the ancient city.

He described the initiatives of the Olubadan as one that will leave lasting impacts on Ibadanland and will be copied by other Yoruba Obas .

Abidikugu prays for long life for Oba Ladoja, saying God will continue to equip him with more wisdom to ensure that under his leadership , Ibadan will continue to witness unity, upliftment and  unprecedented growth .
