An accident in the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, on Monday, has claimed the lives of four persons, while three others sustained injuries, when a luxury bus rammed into a truck.
The Public Relations Officer for Ogun State Sector of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident.
Okpe said the truck did not stop after the bus rammed into it while negotiating a bend around the “Kara’’ axis on the expressway.
She added that 21 persons, 13 men and eight women, were involved in the accident.
She said the corpses have been deposited at a morgue in the Sagamu area of the state, while the injured have been taken to a nearby hospital.
