Actress Annie Macaulay Confirms Split from Tuface Idibia

Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay has confirmed her divorce from Nigerian music star Innocent ‘Tuface’ Idibia.

Annie, at the 17th Headies Awards on Sunday night, and after months of silence on their separation, finally spoke out while co-presenting the Best Afrobeat Singer of the Year award.

Sharing the stage with Farooq Oreagba, who gained fame after his appearance at the 2024 Ojude Oba festival, Annie made a notable comment.

While introducing herself, she paused when stating her name and quickly corrected it: “Annie Idi… Oh! Sorry, Annie Macaulay. Hey, single ladies!”

Her words were met with cheers from the audience, officially confirming her new status.

Earlier this year, Annie hinted at the split when she posted on social media in March, using her full name, Annie Uwana Macaulay, and leaving out the Idibia surname.

This came two months after 2Baba announced their separation.

The couple, who share two children, finalised their divorce in January 2025.
