Senator Bindo Umaru Muhammed Jibrillah has won the All Progressive Congress (APC) primary for the Adamawa governorship by-election.
He polled a total vote of 2,718 to emerge in the primary election.
Bindo Umaru Jibrilla was a businessman who became the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in 9 April 2011 Senatorial election for the Adamawa North district, and went on to be elected to the national senate.
