Moses Simon beat Buatu Jonathan from around the center circle and raced into the Angolan defence before setting Ademola Lookman for the opening goal.
Nigeria wasted two good chances early in the second half.
Osimhen had a goal ruled out for offside 15 minutes from time.
The Super Eagles maintained their lead for the remainder of the game.
They will face the winner of the game between Cape Verde and South Africa in the semi-final on Wednesday.
