Ahead of Saturday Presidential election, the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Lagos, Mr. Jimi Agbaje on Thursday embark on roadshow to woo voters in the state.
Agbaje was seen along Ikorodu road and Mushin during the roadshow urging people to vote for his party on Saturday.
The roadshow which started in his Obanikoro-Ikorodu office around 11am through Jibowu, Yaba, Ojuelegba, Mushin and terminated in Ilupeju area of the state. He reminded the people that their destiny is in their hands and they most break free the bondage.
Agbaje while speaking to newsmen during the roadshow said the postponement of the election is part of price that the citizens pays to make sure the democracy is sustained in the country. Adding that the people should not be discourage for the postponement. Democracy is not something that come easy, those developed countries that we see have fought hard and still fighting to make sure that democracy is sustained. Postponement of one week is a sacrifice for the country, the future of our children and good governance for our country, Agbaje added.
He’s confident that the people will come out and vote massively for his party on Saturday.
