APC Chairman Yilwatda Joins Stakeholders at 23rd Daily Trust Dialogue in Abuja

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, on Thursday participated in the 23rd edition of the Daily Trust Dialogue held at the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Conference Centre, Abuja.

The annual forum, organised by Daily Trust, focused this year on the theme, “Nigeria’s Fourth Republic: What Is Working and What Is Not Working.” It convened policymakers, political leaders, academics, and civil society actors to review Nigeria’s democratic experience since the return to civilian rule in 1999 and to interrogate persistent governance and institutional challenges.

Professor Yilwatda’s attendance placed the ruling party at the centre of conversations on democratic consolidation, accountability, and national development. Observers noted that his presence reflected the APC’s stated commitment to open dialogue and constructive engagement on issues affecting Nigeria’s political system.

As APC National Chairman, Yilwatda used the platform to align the party with ongoing debates around reform, unity, and governance, consistent with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritises institutional strengthening and inclusive leadership.

The Daily Trust Dialogue has, over the years, earned a reputation as one of Nigeria’s most influential policy discussion platforms, providing space for candid assessment of the country’s political and socio-economic direction and offering recommendations for sustainable democratic growth.
