The APC Elder’s Council in Ibadan North East Local Government has urged the entire eligible voters in the local government area, the state and country at large to come out enmass to cast their votes for President Muhammodu Buhari on Saturday during Presidential and National Assembly Election.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Council after a meeting on Thursday, Alhaji Bola Adigun said there is the need to consider the laudable achievements of President Muhammodu Buhari and the Senatorial experience of Governor Abiola Ajimobi by voting for them during the Election.
The Elders’ Council highlighted the notable integrity of President Buhari and the transformation agenda of Senator Ajimobi during the eight years in office as Governor of Oyo State as notable criteria for their re-election bid as President and Senator.
Adigun said as an intelligent Governor, Senator Ajimobi would perform wonderfully well as a member of the forthcoming National Assembly while Oyo State would benefit from him and the second term of President Buhari.
The Elders’ Council meeting was attended by Chief Ayo Eniade, Mogaji Makinde Dankanje and Chief Raufu Olu Adekile and the two chairman of the council, Prince Gbade Lana and Hon. Lekan Afuye among others.
