Nigerian Polytechnic lecturers, ASUP suspends a three month strike indefinitely and also agreed to return to work.
The lecturers, members of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, agreed to suspend the strike early today, the National Publicity Secretary of the Union, Clement Chiamen, told newsmen.
This was due to a meeting the lecturers’ had with the federal lawmakers and ministers last week, after which they said the National Executive Committee of ASUP would meet to review the government’s offer.
