#BBTitans: Meet 20 Housemates Competing For $100,000 Prize
The first season of Africa’s biggest reality TV show, Big Brother Titans, BBTitans, premiered on January 15, 2023 with two countries: Nigeria and South Africa, in one House.
With a combination of elements from both BBNaija and BBMzansi, viewers are sure to enjoy a daily dose of pure entertainment from the housemates for the next few months.
The live premiere show, which lasted about two hours, had performances from Nigerian multi-award-winning artiste D’banj and South African sensation Boohle.
The show’s hosts: Lawrence Maleka and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, also introduced 20 Housemates, 10 from each country.
Meet the next African superstars vying for the grand prize of $100,000:
Nigeria
Yemi
Yemi is a 30-year-old guy from Ekiti State, Nigeria. He prides himself as a cool, calm and collected guy. He is eager to get the work done on the show and discover more about South-Africans.
Olivia
She is a 23-year-old Nigerian actress and influencer. She believes she is an energetic, friendly and loving person. In her words, BBTitans is a dream come true, and she is ready to walk away with the money. Her goal after winning the money is to pursue her dreams and help the needy.
Blaq Boi
Blaq Boi is a content creator and filmmaker from Plateau Jos, Nigeria. He believes he is a Titan because of his adventurous spirit and his ability to relate to people. He takes great pleasure in listening to others and in observing and comprehending human behavior. His strategy is to infuse the show with adventure, creativity, and content.
Nana
She is a 22-year-old lady from Kaduna state, Nigeria. Her expectations on the show is to eat, play the games and enjoy every bit of the Saturday parties. She’s also single and ready to mingle in the house.
Marvin
He is 29 years old and a chemical engineer. His strategy is to be himself in the house and enjoy every moment. And with all the abs and ‘hot body’, we can’t wait to see more of him during the morning exercise.
Jaypee
Jaypee is 25 years old. She hails from Lagos State, Nigeria. According to her, she never gets along with “females” because she spent the most part of her childhood with men. She looks forward to the Saturday parties in the house.
Ebubu
Ebubu is a 28-year-old young man. He is Igbo from Anambra state, Nigeria. One of his superpowers is his ability to connect with people easily.
Jenni O
Jenni is a heart specialist. She identifies as emotional and adventurous. She’s known for her stubbornness, and uses that trait as her primary motivation for success.
Kanaga Jnr
He hails from Abia state, Nigeria. He considers himself to be the life of the party, loves to show-off and make a statement at any event. It’s safe to say that at the launch event, he showed us a tip of the iceberg.
Yvonne
Yvonne is from Akwa-Ibom state in Nigeria. She believes people tend to find her intimidating even when she does nothing. She anticipates the drama in the show. She also wants to be known for her positive energy and her success in every task.
South Africa
Khosi
Khosi is a dual-degree academic. She claims that the biggest misconception about her is that people assume she is a “slay queen,” when she thinks the exact opposite. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree while looking for a Nigerian man to date.
Juicy Jay
Juicy Jay believes he is a handsome man. He dislikes hanging out with people who lack enthusiasm. He is looking forward to learning about Nigerian culture, food, and music while being himself on the show.
Nelisa
Nelisa believes her ability to win is what distinguishes her as a titan. She sees herself as a team player and feels like the main character in every story. She says that she is prepared to explore that aspect of herself inside the house.
Mmeli
Mmeli is an actor and a content creator. His main expectation is to basically have a good time in the house. Additionally, he wants to learn about the Nigerian culture and its people.
Ipelang
Ipelang is a law student. She sees herself as a nice, calm woman with an introverted nature. She has a special interest in life’s philosophy, and is eager to learn everything there is to know about Nigeria. She has promised to give the show a South African feel.
Thabang
Thabang is a 21-year-old guy from Soweto, South Africa. His strategy is to navigate the show using the life lessons he has learned. He’s also single and ready for all the fun and entertainment in the house
Yaya
According to Yaya, she has promised us that she is on the show to cause distraction, and we are here for it! She is also excited to learn and enjoy Nigerian food in the house.
Lukay
Lukay describes himself as competitive and the life of the party, however, he does not believe he is a people person.
Tsatsi
She is 24 years old and currently studying electronic engineering. Her strategy is to display her talents and personality to its full potential.
Justin
Justin is a content creator, and he describes himself as a cool, laid-back guy.
The show has officially begun.
All 20 housemates are in the Titans house, and we can’t wait to see all the fun and drama unfold throughout the season.
