Nigerian sprinter Blessing Okagbare has reacted to her 10- year ban by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) for doping violations.
The AIU is an independent body under the World Athletics, issued a statement on Friday, banning the athlete for use of prohibited substances and refusing to cooperate with the Unit’s investigation.

In her reaction on Saturday via a tweet on Twitter, Okagbare acknowledged that she has seen the statement by AIU and her lawyers were working on it.
My attention has been drawn to the statement issued by the AIU regarding its disciplinary panel decision. My lawyers are currently studying it for our next line of action which we will inform you soon.🙏❤

If she loses the appeal on doping, that might be the end of her career in athletics.
