President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday approved the appointment of the Deputy Inspector-General of Police Usman Alkali Baba as the acting Inspector -General of Police.
The Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi made this disclosure to State House correspondents on Tuesday.
Baba will replaced Mohammed Adamu who the president had on the 4th of February, extended his tenure as the IGP for three months out of which the erstwhile police boss had spent two months and three days.
