
President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday called Afenifere leader Pa Reuben Fasoranti over the murder of his daughter, Mrs Funke Olakunri.
He made the call on Saturday, a day after Mrs Olakunri was murdered by armed men suspected to be herdsmen on Kajola-Ore road in Ondo State.
Mr Femi Adesina, the President’s special adviser on Media and Publicity, said his principal condoled with the grieving nonagenarian during their conversation.

According to a statement by the presidential aide, President Buhari wished Fasoranti the comfort of God and fortitude to bear the great loss.
He also gave assurance that security agencies would spare no effort to apprehend the culprits and bring them to justice.
In his response, Adesina said the Afenifere leader thanked the President for identifying with him and his family at their time of travail.
He prayed to God to restore peace and amity to the country.
