President Muhammadu Buhari has officially resumed duty on Monday and he is currently presiding over a meeting with the security chiefs.
This is the first meeting with the service chiefs inside the Presidential Villa in Abuja, since his return to the country from his 14 day vacation in the United Kingdom.
The meeting has in attendance the Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin, and other security chiefs.
The Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris; Acting Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Mr Matthew Seiyefa, and Director-General of the national intelligence agency (NIA), Ahmed Abubakar, are also present.
Also in attendance are the Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali; Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha; and the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno, among others.
