Chelsea played Crystal Palace to a goalless draw in their Premier League season opener at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Palace put up a resolute display at the back to frustrate Enzo Maresca’s men.
Eberechi Eze scored for Palace with a well-hit free kick in the first half.
The video assistant referee (VAR) and referee Darren England, however, ruled that Marc Guehi was too close to the Chelsea wall, and it was ruled out.
Neither side came close to scoring from there as two well-drilled defences cancelled each other out.
