Chelsea Stage Comeback to Edge West Ham in Five-Goal Epic

In a captivating London derby at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea fought back from being 2-0 down to secure a 3-2 win over West Ham United.

The Blues manager Liam Rosenior made seven changes to the side that defeated Napoli in the Champions League in midweek.

The decision backfired as West Ham United scored twice in the first half.

Captain Jarrod Bowen gave the Hammers the lead after seven minutes.

Crysencio Summerville doubled the advantage with a superb strike nine minutes before the break.

The introductions of Joao Pedro, Wesley Fofana, and Marc Cucurella at half-time saw the Blues storm back.

Joao Pedro reduced the deficit with a header from Fofana’s cross 20 minutes from time.

Cucurela then equalised for Chelsea with another header 20 minutes from time.

The Blues got the winner in stoppage time through Enzo Fernandes.

Chelsea climb into the top four ahead of Manchester United’s game against Fulham on Sunday.
