A Federal High Court in Abuja has struck out a suit filed to disqualify Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki from contesting the September 2020 governorship election in the state for allegedly forging his university certificate.
The plaintiffs, Edobor Williams, Ugbesia Abudu Godwin and Amedu Dauda Anakhu, in the suit accused the Governor of engaging in certificate forgery.

Justice Anwuli Chikere struck out the suit following the absence of the lawyers to the plaintiffs and defendants.
