
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday July 09, 2021 announced one hundred and eighty-six (186) confirmed new cases of coronavirus, also known as COVID-19 in the country.
Meanwhile, out of one hundred and eighty-six (186) new cases in the country, Lagos recorded 175 cases.
New cases of the pandemic have continued to rise for seven consecutive weeks across Africa including Nigeria, signaling the third wave as Nigeria confirmed the deadly Delta variants.

“Today’s report includes 0 cases reported from FCT, Nasarawa, Plateau, Kano, Kaduna and Sokoto States,” NCDC said.
As of Friday July 09, there are 1,997 active cases in Nigeria.
