The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday August 09, 2020 announced four hundred and thirty-seven (437) confirmed new cases of coronavirus otherwise known as COVID-19 in the country.
The virus also claimed three more people in the country.
The total confirmed cases now stands at 46,140 making Nigeria one of the top highest cases in Africa.
As at Sunday August 09, 2020, Nigeria has 13,391 active cases.
