
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday 12, June 2020 announced six hundred and twenty-seven (627) new cases of coronavirus otherwise known as COVID-19 which is one of the highest number ever recorded in the country.
The virus which originated from the city of Wuhan in China has claimed three hundred and ninety-nine (399) lives in Nigeria and still counting as the country continue to work on how to stop the spread even as the government has relaxed the lockdown earlier imposed in the country.

The Federal Government has also said recently that no plan to impose a lockdown again even though the cases is on the increase.
