The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday October 17, 2020 announced one hundred and thirteen (113) confirmed new cases of coronavirus better known as COVID-19 in the country.
The virus also claimed four (4) lives on Saturday.
So far, the cases have been dropping drastically in the last couple of weeks and it’s expected to continue to decline even as the country reopened the full economy including the borders both lands, sea and air and schools.

The total confirmed cases now stand at 61,307.
As at Saturday October 17, 2020, there are 3,627 active cases in Nigeria.
