COVID-19: Nigeria Records 122 New Cases, One Death As 371 Recovers In Lagos

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday December 02, 2020 announced two hundred and twenty-two (122) confirmed new cases of coronavirus also known as COVID-19 in the country.

One (1) person was also confirmed dead on Wednesday.

However, about 371 persons recovered from the virus in Lagos according to a tweet by NCDC

“Our discharges today include 371 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines”, NCDC tweeted.

So far, the cases have been dropping drastically in the last couple of weeks and it’s expected to continue to decline even as the country reopened the full economy including the borders both lands, sea and air and schools.

The total confirmed cases now stand at 67,960.

As at Wednesday December 02, there are 2,944 active cases in Nigeria.
