The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday September 24, 2020 announced one and twenty-five (125) confirmed new cases of coronavirus also known as COVID-19 in the country.
No death was recorded on Thursday.
So far, the cases have been dropping drastically in the last couple of weeks and it’s expected to continue to decline even as the country reopened the full economy including the borders both lands, sea and air and schools.

The total confirmed cases now stand at 57,849.
As at Thursday September 24, 2020, there are 7,649 active cases in Nigeria.
