The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday September 17, 2020 announced one hundred and thirty-one (131) confirmed new cases of coronavirus also known as COVID-19 in the country.
The virus also claimed two (2) more lives.
So far, the cases have been dropping drastically in the last couple of weeks and it’s expected to continue to decline even as the country reopened the full economy including the borders both lands, sea and air and schools.

The total confirmed cases now stand at 56,735.
As at Thursday September 17, 2020, there are 7,550 active cases in Nigeria.
