COVID-19: Nigeria Records 133 New Cases, 2 Deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday October 18, 2020 announced one hundred and thirty-three (133) confirmed new cases of coronavirus better known as COVID-19 in the country.

The virus also claimed two (2) lives on Sunday.

So far, the cases have been dropping drastically in the last couple of weeks and it’s expected to continue to decline even as the country reopened the full economy including the borders both lands, sea and air and schools.

The total confirmed cases now stand at 61,440.

As at Sunday October 18, 2020, there are 3,704 active cases in Nigeria.
