
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday January 15, 2021 announced one thousand, eight hundred and sixty-seven (1,867) confirmed new cases of coronavirus also known as COVID-19 in the country.
Eight (8) people were reported dead on Friday.
The total confirmed cases now stand at 107,345.
505 persons also recovered from the virus in Lagos, Kaduna and Plateau States according to a tweet by NCDC
“Our discharges today include 277 community recoveries in Lagos State, 150 in Kaduna State and 78 in Plateau State managed in line with guidelines,” NCDC tweeted.

As at Friday January 15, 2021 there are 21,397 active cases in Nigeria.
