The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday January 21, 2021 announced one thousand, nine hundred and sixty-four (1,964) confirmed new cases of coronavirus also known as COVID-19 in the country.
Seven (7) people were reported dead on Thursday.
The total confirmed cases now stand at 116,655.
989 persons also recovered from the virus in Lagos and Ondo State according to a tweet by NCDC
“Our discharges today include 798 community recoveries in Lagos State and 191 community recoveries in Ondo State managed in line with guidelines,” NCDC tweeted.

As at Thursday January 21, 2021 there are 21,524 active cases in Nigeria.
