COVID-19: Nigeria Records 197 New Cases, 5 Deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday September 10, 2020 announced one hundred and ninety-seven (197) confirmed new cases of coronavirus also known as COVID-19 in the country.

The virus also claimed five (5) more lives. 

So far, the cases have been dropping drastically in the last couple of weeks and it’s expected to continue to decline even as the country reopened the full economy including the borders both lands, sea and air and schools.

The total confirmed cases now stand at 55,829.

As at Thursday September 10, 2020, Nigeria has a total number of 12,019 active cases.
