COVID-19: Nigeria Records 212 New Cases, 3 Deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday October 16, 2020 announced two hundred and twelve (212) confirmed new cases of coronavirus better known as COVID-19 in the country.

The virus also claimed three (3) lives on Friday.

So far, the cases have been dropping drastically in the last couple of weeks and it’s expected to continue to decline even as the country reopened the full economy including the borders both lands, sea and air and schools.

The total confirmed cases now stand at 61,194.

As at Friday October 16, 2020, there are 7,771 active cases in Nigeria.
