The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday July 26, 2021 announced two hundred and thirteen (213) confirmed new cases of coronavirus, also known as COVID-19 in the country.
New cases of the pandemic have continued to rise for seven consecutive weeks across Africa including Nigeria, signaling the third wave as the country confirmed the deadly Delta variants.
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sunday July 11 in a statement announced a possible third wave of the pandemic in Nigeria.
“Today’s report includes 0 cases from Nasarawa, Sokoto and Ondo States,” NCDC said.
As of Monday July 26, there are 4,392 active cases in Nigeria.
