The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday September 18, 2020 announced two hundred and twenty-one (221) confirmed new cases of coronavirus also known as COVID-19 in the country.
The virus also claimed one (1) more lives.
So far, the cases have been dropping drastically in the last couple of weeks and it’s expected to continue to decline even as the country reopened the full economy including the borders both lands, sea and air and schools.
The total confirmed cases now stand at 56,956.
As at Friday September 18, 2020, there are 7,557 active cases in Nigeria.
