COVID-19: Nigeria Records 466 New Cases, Three Deaths 

The virus also killed three (3) people on Friday.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday September 10, 2021 announced four hundred and sixty-six (466) confirmed new cases of coronavirus, also known as COVID-19 in the country.

The virus also killed three (3) people on Friday.

New cases of the pandemic have continued to rise for seven consecutive weeks across Africa including Nigeria, signaling the third wave as the country confirmed the deadly Delta variants.

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sunday July 11 in a statement announced a possible third wave of the pandemic in Nigeria.

“Today’s report includes:

✅ Deaths (2) and Discharged (😎 cases for Lagos are for 9th September 2021

✅ 0 cases from Nasarawa and Sokoto States” NCDC said.

As of  Friday September 10, there are 9,871 active cases in Nigeria.
