COVID-19: Nigeria Records 542 New Cases, 23 Deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday February 22, 2021 announced five hundred and forty-two (542) confirmed new cases of coronavirus also known as COVID-19 in the country.

The virus also claimed twenty-three (23) lives on Monday.

“Today’s report include:

193 community recoveries in Lagos State and 113 community recoveries in Kwara State managed in line with guidelines

Backlog of deaths recorded in Lagos State” NCDC tweeted.

As at Monday February 22, 2021, there are 21,454 active cases in Nigeria.
