The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday, February 03, 2022, announced one hundred (100) confirmed new cases of coronavirus, also known as COVID-19 in the country.
No death was reported on Thursday.
Nigeria has also confirmed a new variant of COVID-19 called Omicron.
The country is battling the fourth wave of the virus.

“Today’s report includes:
3 confirmed cases reported from Bauchi State for 2nd Feb
158 community discharged cases from FCT for 3rd Feb
16 community discharged cases from Imo State for 3rd Feb
0 cases reported from Ekiti, Ondo, and Rivers States,” NCDC said.
As of Thursday, February 03, 2022, there are 20,476 active cases in Nigeria.
