The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday, November 21, 2021, announced fifty-seven (57) confirmed new cases of coronavirus, also known as COVID-19 in the country.
One (1) death was recorded on Sunday.
New cases of the pandemic have continued to rise for seven consecutive weeks across Africa including Nigeria, signaling the third wave as the country confirmed the deadly Delta variants.
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sunday, July 11 in a statement announced a possible third wave of the pandemic in Nigeria urging citizens to take proactive measures to prevent themselves from contracting the pandemic.

As of Sunday, November 21, there are 4,097 active cases in Nigeria.
