Crystal Palace secured their first major trophy by defeating Manchester City 1-0 in Saturday’s FA Cup final. The unexpected victory stunned Manchester City.
England international Eberechi Eze scored the winning goal from Palace’s first attack of the game in the 16th minute.
Eze slotted home superbly from Daniel Munoz’s cross, after a brilliant hold-up play by Philippe Mateta.
Manchester City missed the chance to equalise nine minutes before the break with Dean Henderson saving Omar Marmoush’s penalty.
