Dangote Refinery effluent treatment plant (ETP) earlier today, Wednesday, June 26th experienced a minor fire incident.
The development was confirmed in a statement by the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Dangote Industries Limited, Anthony Chiejina
The fire was swiftly contained, and there was no cause for alarm, a statement by the company said. The refinery continues to operate, and no injuries were reported among our staff on duty.
“We have swiftly contained a minor fire incident at our effluent treatment plant (ETP), today Wednesday 26th of June”.
“There is no cause for alarm as the refinery is operating and there is no recorded injury or body harm to all our staff on duty”.
