Defunct ANPP Members Advise Oyo Governor-Elect, Makinde In Congratulatory Message

The entire members of the defunct ANPP in Oyo State known as “ADAMOS” have advised the governor-elect under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Engineer Seyi Makinde not to forget his electoral promises to the good people of the state who elected him in March 9 gubernatorial election.

As they also congratulated him on his well-deserved and overwhelming victory over his arc rival in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bayo Adelabu.

According to a release by the group signed by their Chairman and Secretary, Rasaq Folorunso and Sola Osotoye respectively, “As you are begins new chapter in your political career, we pray fervently that you do not forget your electoral promises and do not allow arrogance, political rascality, divide and rule syndrome dominate your administration. 

“We wish to congratulate you on your success at the 2019 Gubernatorial Election. Hopefully, with you becoming the executive governor of the state, the series of problems confronting the people of Oyo State should be tackled considerably.

“We cannot afford to hide our feelings, more so, that we were well connected as far back as 2007 when you emerged as the senatorial candidate of the defunct ANPP in 2007 general elections during which you were robbed of victory but God has not robbed you. 

“You did not relent your efforts of becoming one of the notable personalities in Nigeria, you continued your political journey until the realization of your ambition to become Governor of Oyo State.

“This association having realized that you as a cool-headed, straight forward and God fearing character, we supported your mission wholeheartedly right from the beginning to the end of this exercise without playing political sycophancy. Our support is between God and humanity.

“Your Excellency, you must always remember that your FOLLOWERS ARE YOUR WARDROBE. We know that you are a peace loving person, please do not stop it because there is the need to remember that this is your own time, play it well. We know ourselves ‘ADARAWAMO’ shortened as ‘ADAMOS’. We wish you success in your new era with good health and long life”, the release concluded.
