Diamond Bank Hosted 26th Diamond Business Xpress Enterprise Series
In a bid to promote sustainable entrepreneurship, Diamond Bank Plc, has hosted the 26thDiamond Business Xpress Enterprise Series for entrepreneurs in Lagos themed ‘Catalyst for growing your Business.’
Mrs. Ayona Aguele-Trimnell, Head, Corporate communication of the bank explained that the seminar was to ensure that business owners were well grounded in business.
“The reason why we introduced this business clinic is to help people in same type of business to grow. Here we learn business techniques and strategies to help expand the business.”
Aguele-Trimnell, further said that the bank organised the seminar for business owners to learn and help to build the economy.
“It is also a good thing for the economy because if the SMEs grow their capacity, they will be able to employ more people that might also translate into more customers for us in the future and also it will help our economy as more business would spring forth.”
She further explained that the series would allow regular participant to borrow from the bank at lower interest rate unlike others who do not participate in the series.
“Going on, for constant participants at the ‘Diamond Business Xpress Enterprise Series’, they will have the opportunity of borrowing from the bank at lower interest rates than others who do not participate. Since we have all your records and we are sure that your business will take a new turn as you have participated in the seminar, we will offer you low interest that we know will be beneficial to you.”
The facilitator, President/CEO Superflux International Limited, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi who spoke on the theme ‘Catalyst for growing your Business’, said the series will teach SMEs owners on how to invest in their business.
“We want to them to learn how to make tangible investment into their business. Some people fail to learn the basis in business before getting involved in business. With this series, everyone here will go back home a different person ready to take their business to a different level which will be good for our country.”
The Diamond Xpress Enterprise Series which is in its 26th edition, was launched in 2010 to add value to businesses, whether a micro, small or medium scale enterprise. The series has gone round many cities, mentoring entrepreneurs across the country and has been well received by entrepreneurs. The series was designed to help the bank’s customers under the category to grow their businesses till they graduate to the upper level market.
