One of the doctors who had contact with the index case (late Patrick Sawyer) at the First Consultant Hospital, Obalende, Lagos, has been discharged from the hospital, Minister of Health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu disclosed this to reporters in Lagos according to theCablenews. Adding that, five of those currently undergoing treatment for Ebola “have almost recovered”.
He said one has fully recovered and was discharged from the hospital on Saturday.
The Minister said the patient was discharged “after conclusive discharge protocols”, adding that she could go home to resume her normal life.
