EFCC Reportedly Arrests Bobrisky Over Alleged Naira Abuse
Popular crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky has been reportedly arrested by the operatives of the Lagos Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to reports, Bobrisky was picked from his Lagos home on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 over alleged currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira.
Confirming the news to Linda Ikeji Blog, the spokesperson of the EFCC, Dele Oyewale said Bobrisky was arrested for currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira.
According to Mr. Oyewole, “He is with us. We arrested him over currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira. He is in our facility in Lagos”.
Mr. Dele Oyewole added that Bobrisky will be charged to court soon.
