Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Bob Marley and Majek Fashek Inspired Me -2Face

2Face reveal how Bob Marley, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and Majek Fashek  influenced him to write and sing good songs.

Innocent Idibia, popularly known has 2Face is one of Nigerian artist who succeed in the industry upon all the ups and down in the entertainment world.

Though, Fashek is still alive and he’s not that active but his still impacting the younger ones out there with his old songs.  According to 2Face “I love to listen to Majek’s recorded works any time,”

 “I’m in love with reggae because it allows me to express myself without fear or favor. Reggae is socially and politically conscious music like Fela’s Afrobeat.”

He revealed that he actually took to mixing reggae with other genres because it was what his fans, especially youths, want to listen to. “Other influences rubbed off on me, but Fela, Bob Marley and Majek are forever my chief musical influences,” he added.
