

The Federal Government has announced Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, as public holidays to mark Good Friday and Easter Monday respectively.
Interior Minister Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, announced on behalf of the Government, extending warm wishes to Christians nationwide as they celebrate Easter.
In a statement issued by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, Tunji-Ojo urged Nigerians to reflect on the values of sacrifice and love exemplified by Jesus Christ.
He encouraged citizens to use the holiday to pray for peace, unity, and stability in the country.
The minister also reaffirmed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s dedication to the Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to drive national progress.
He called on Nigerians to show love and kindness to one another during the festive period and wished everyone a joyful Easter celebration.
