The Federal Government through the petroleum regulatory agency, the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), has once again cut the price of petrol in the country to N123.50 per liter from N125 p/l effective April 1, 2020.
The directive was contained in a statement signed by Abdulkadir Saidu, it’s Executive Secretary on Tuesday.
“The Guiding price which becomes effective 1 April 2020, shall apply at all retail outlets nationwide for the month of April 2020,” he said.
Recalls that the regulatory agency on March 18, 2020, cut the price from N145 per liter to N125 per liter at the request of the Nigerian government following the plunge in the price of crude oil in the international markets.
